The Wherry Income Team consists of:

The income team works in partnership with local authority benefit departments, the Citizens Advice Bureau, the Department for Work and Pensions and other voluntary agencies to ensure that tenants have the means and support needed to pay their rent. In addition, the money advisor is able to provide free face-to-face advice to residents experiencing money or debt problems.
The income officers and money advisor are able to visit tenants in their own homes to discuss payment, benefit or debt issues, with office-based support and service being provided by the assistant income officers. Where the team is unable to negotiate repayment of a debt to the Association, the income officers will pursue possession through the county court.
