Anti-social behaviour

Anti-social behaviour is behaviour which causes, or is likely to cause, harassment or distress. It can be anything from low-level persistent nuisance to serious violent behaviour. It includes all behaviour that harms residents' quality of life in and around their homes.

Some examples of anti-social are neighbour nuisance, vandalism and graffiti, noise nuisance, misuse or serious neglect of gardens, nuisance from pets, car crime, drug related crime, verbal abuse, intimidation, domestic violence and racial harassment.

Please only call our anti-social behaviour co-ordinator (01279 714 706) if you are enquiring about an ongoing, or escalating complaint.

In cases of anti-social behaviour involving violence or the threat of violence, we would strongly advise that you contact the police as well. They will be able to offer immediate assistance such as arresting and dealing with the perpetrator.
