Are you entitled to help with paying your rent? Many people are entitled to help with their rent (and/or Council Tax), but do not claim because they don't think it will be worth it or because they don't know how to claim.
Our Welfare Benefits Advisor, Lee Spring will be able to assist with Housing Benefit claims and backdated payments, as well as other benefits such as Job Seekers Allowance, Income Support and Disability Living Allowance. You can get advice on debt or other financial problems from your local Citizens Advice Bureau or Tonbridge Debt Advice Centre. There is also some useful information available from the Department for Work and Pensions, and another Government website, "Real help now".
