Resident involvement

Last modified 12/01/10 at 13:36

Welcome to the resident involvement section, which provides information on how you can become more involved in shaping our services.

We will listen to your comments and suggestions and use these to make our services better. We will encourage you to influence and shape our services by sharing decision making where possible.

Resident involvement is not just about talking about your homes, it’s about working with your neighbourhoods. The resident involvement team can provide residents with opportunities to:

  • influence decisions
  • get involved to improve services in your local communities
  • work in partnership with Mole Valley Housing Association and other agencies to maintain and improve standards and services
  • help Mole Valley Housing Association achieve delivering the right services in the future by working with you

We can provide relevant training, encouragement and support in order for residents to achieve this.

Groups and forums

Mole Valley Resident Involvement Group

Mole Valley Resident Involvement Group (MVRIG) is recognised by the MVHA as the overarching tenants group in the Mole Valley district.

MVRIG represents current tenants who live in MVHA properties.

Sheltered Housing Forum

Tenants living in sheltered housing have their own group to represent their views and has representatives from most of the 17 sheltered schemes in the District.

The Sheltered Housing Forum meets 3 times a year and discusses issues that are relevant to the needs of our sheltered housing tenants in the District.
