Making dreams come true in Mole Valley

Mole Valley Dreamscheme project Dorking

This summer Mole Valley Housing Association (MVHA), part of leading affordable housing provider Circle Anglia, is making dreams come true for 30 young people in Mole Valley. Over the summer holidays, young people aged seven to 18, will be taking part in the Mole Valley Dreamscheme project. Young people will do different kinds of work to make their neighbourhood a better place to live and earn points that they can trade for trips at the end of the project.

Social Housing Squeeze will cost UK economy £2.5 billion over five years - New report on Mobility released

The barriers faced by social housing tenants wanting to move home are costing the UK’s economy at least £542 million each year. This will amount to more than £2.5 billion over the course of this Parliament - according to ‘Counting Costs’; a major new report released by Circle Anglia - one of the UK’s leading providers of affordable housing. Circle Anglia, which runs the UK’s only national, not-for-profit mutual exchange service - www.houseexchange.org.uk - commissioned think tank Human City Institute to investigate the impact that lack of mobility in social housing has on our society.

Camden residents move into new affordable homes at Central St. Giles / Renzo Piano designed homes for local residents

Central St Giles development

Camden residents last week celebrated the completion of 53 new affordable homes in the heart of the city. The homes have been developed by Circle 33 Housing Trust, part of Circle Anglia – one of the UK’s leading providers of affordable housing, together with Camden Council, Legal and General and Stanhope and Bovis Lend Lease. Frank Dobson, MP for Holborn and St. Pancras also attended the event.
