26 February 2010 Join the Doorstep Library at Priory Court

A free weekly book loaning and reading project for families in Waltham Forest was launched last week with a fun event at Priory Court Community Centre. The project is run by The Lloyd Park Centre together with Circle 33 Housing Trust, part of leading affordable housing provider Circle Anglia, The Salvation Army and Higham Hill Library.

Home Access is a government drive which will help low-income families have access to a computer and the internet to get online at home.

February is scam awareness month and as part of their ongoing work to increase awareness of scams, the OFT together with Trading Standards have launched ‘Scamnesty’, The campaign encourages people to drop their scam mail into local Scamnesty collections located around the country and will run from 1 - 26 February 2010.
